Bradford DalY

Double Wides is a collection of pairs of panoramic photographs taken in Alabama and India between 2007 and 2009. “I am always amazed at the payoff that follows from chasing the wide view, even though its nature is chaotic and accidental:  I try to control what gets into the frame, but stray elements abound.  Pairing the photos was an exercise in compositional counterpoint.  Every set of two views offers myriad meanings, and the interplay between images makes each pair a kind of visual duet.”—Bradford Daly.  This Exhibition is free and open to the public and runs from April 24-May 8, 2009.  Space One Eleven’s gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm.
