Make your own holiday cards in this 4 session workshop by learning the traditional and unique method of woodblock printing. In this intensive, hands-on workshop taught by local artist,Rachael Ellzey, students will do everything from designing, carving and printing. Rachael Ellzey graduated from the University of Montevallo where she received her BFA in Printmaking. While attending school she received the Madge Taylor Sims scholarship and the Martha Allen scholarship for her work. Rachael's practice focuses primarily on rendering the human figure through realism and expressionism. She dabbles in several mediums, but uses drawing as a foundation for all. Rachael lives and works in Birmingham, AL.
